Evaluating Accessibility of the Web
The goal was to ensure that websites (WHO & BBC; educational board webpages of G7 and BRICS group of countries) complies with accessibility standards and provides an inclusive experience for users with various impairments, such as visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive disabilities. A Common User Profile format was proposed to help personalize web content.
Design of Eye-Controlled Multilingual Adaptive Virtual Keyboard for Users with Speech & Motor Impairment
Created an eye-controlled virtual keyboard in English and Kannada languages. The virtual keyboard included features like optimized arrangement of keys and automatic adjustment of eye-click time to improve typing speed for those with disabilities.
Understanding Student Engagement in Experiential Learning Using Eye Tracking: A Case Study
The goal was to study the value of integrating real-world observation with simulation-based analysis to enhance experiential learning in STEM education. The findings underscore the importance of designing learning experiences that attend not only to cognitive outcomes, but also to emotional engagement and student readiness.
UX in Aviation: Eye Tracking for Military Fast Jet Pilots
Explored the use of eye tracking and eye-controlled interfaces in a flight simulator. Developed AI-driven interaction strategies for eye-controlled flight simulators and analyzed user behavior and cognitive workload, to enhance pilot performance during high G-maneuvers in Jaguar and Hawk aircrafts.
